DS Smith, one of Europe’s largest companies in packaging solutions, is currently in the process of transitioning the Service Team from Brussels to Amsterdam Schiphol. Therefore we are recruiting 30 ambitious new colleagues, including experienced candidates for the position Supply Chain Administrator – Amsterdam Schiphol
Key tasks and responsibilities
• Execute, according to best practices, the processes within scope for both internal and external supply in the internal Paper Management System (PMS) as well as in SAP for all paper supply managed by the PSP;
• Act as the point of contact for customer’s service requirements for designated region or plant;
• Ensure required paper is supplied at a regional, plant and product level for the Group;
• Complete the order registration and sales invoicing both in PMS and SAP;
• Create invoices, set up rebates, handle claims, order registration, follow up on supply demand and sending of production planning;
• Manage, monitor and improve relevant Key Performance Indicators.
What will our ideal applicant have
The essentials
- Bachelor degree or equivalent intellectual level through experience;
- At least two years of relevant work experience in a customer focussed supply chain role;
- Expertise in SAP and/or other ERP and supply chain systems;
- Excellent command in English language and at least one of the following languages: German, French, Polish, Swedish, Danish, Czech or Finnish;
- Experience in supply chain process including order coordination and management, transaction processing, customer interfacing and management;
- Excellent interpersonal skills with good international awareness;
- Ability to build trust and relationships and establish credibility with Group and External customers and suppliers;
- Flexible, adaptable and able to work in a structured way in a dynamic environment;
- Experience in paper or packaging industry.
