You are a proactive and practical thinker with hands on approach, an outgoing personality and focused on high quality levels of execution. You are customer orientated, able to respond quickly to changing conditions and eager to take ownership.

  • Commercial/ Logistic education on MBO level
  • Excellent knowledge of Dutch, English and Polish, both verbally and in writing
  • Minimum of 2-3 years working experience in a similar position in Transport or Logistics
  • Affinity with rail transport
  • Willingness to work during regular hours as well as in weekends and evenings (shift system)

Your key responsibilities & tasks

  • Accept and monitor customer bookings in line with our network and the customer requirements
  • Ensure accurate and timely input of booking details in our core business system
  • Coordinate an efficient flow of transport documents and timely follow up on closing of open orders
  • Constantly strive to achieve maximum utilization levels of ERS Railways trains and focus on continuous improvement of our working processes
  • Maintain and enhance close as well as pleasant working relationships with customers, agents, terminals and other railway companies
  • Continuously provide pro-active communication with suppliers as well as customers’ booking- and customer service departments
  • Checking and approving of invoices within the agreed timeframe
  • If required assist internal and/or external customers or suppliers outside office hours.
